Text preparation

The following guidelines apply to authors who have ordered typesetting services from Lublin University of Technology Publishing House.

Note: the text submitted to the publisher should be the final version of the work, ready for review.

Formatting of the text:

• format: A4,
• margins: 2.5 cm,
• pages numbered in the middle,
• automatic table of contents,
• chapter and subchapter headings defined in styles,
• the body of the main text defined in the following style: font Times New Roman, 12 pt; leading 1.5,
• each graphic element should be described and state the source of the graphic.

Layout of the first pages of the book:

• page 1: names of authors/editors with affiliation, title and subtitle,
• page 2: blank,
• page 3: automatic table of contents,
• page 4: blank,
• page 5: abstract in Polish (600-1000 characters with spaces, 10 pts; description of objectives and methodology, results of research and analysis) and key words (3-5 in Polish),
• Page 6: abstract in English and key words in English,
• pages 7-8: list of abbreviations and designations,
• from page 9 (or the next odd-numbered page if the list of abbreviations was longer): introduction of the work, development, conclusion and conclusion,
• bibliography and footnotes (according to the Typographical guidelines),
• appendices (if any).
