Scientific Council of the Lublin University of Technology Publishing House

The competences of the Scientific Council

In accordance with the Regulations, the competences include:

  1. shaping the publishing policy of Lublin University of Technology and approving the principles of financing, distribution and promotion of publications;
  2. to make (by representatives of scientific disciplines) a preliminary assessment of the material in terms of content, the profile of scientific activity of Lublin University of Technology and the discipline represented by the authors;
  3. ensuring the high scientific and editorial level of published works based on reviews, in accordance with ethical standards (COPE);
  4. identifying (by representatives of scientific disciplines) reviewers for particular types of publications;
  5. providing opinions in competitions, projects and grants related to the publication of publications of Lublin University of Technology employees.
